abhivādya vasiṣṭhaṃ ca nyāyataḥ paripūjya ca | abravīt praśritaṃ vākyaṃ prasavārthaṃ dvijottamam || 1.13.2 ||

Translation

ครั้นถวายบังคมพระฤๅษีวสิษฐะด้วยความเคารพ และบูชาท่านผู้เป็นทวิชผู้ประเสริฐตามครรลองอันถูกต้องแล้ว พระราชาจึงตรัสด้วยถ้อยคำอ่อนน้อม เพื่อทูลขอหนทางแห่งการได้บุตรสืบสกุล
