कबन्धमोक्षः—सुग्रीवमैत्र्युपदेशः

Kabandha’s Release and Counsel to Befriend Sugriva

स मेरुशृङ्गाग्रगतामनिन्दितां प्रविश्य पातालतलेऽपि वा श्रिताम्।प्लवङ्गमानां प्रवरस्तव प्रियां निहत्य रक्षांसि पुनः प्रदास्यति।।।।

sa meruśṛṅgāgragatām aninditāṃ praviśya pātālatale ’pi vā śritām |

plavaṅgamānāṃ pravaras tava priyāṃ nihatya rakṣāṃsi punaḥ pradāsyati ||

แม้นางผู้เป็นที่รักของท่านผู้ไร้มลทินจะไปถึงยอดเขาพระสุเมรุ หรือหลบอยู่ในห้วงลึกแห่งปาตาล (บาดาล) ก็ตาม วานรผู้ประเสริฐที่สุดจะบุกเข้าไป ณ ที่นั้น สังหารเหล่ารากษส แล้วนำนางกลับคืนสู่ท่านอีกครั้ง
