asammūḍhasya gṛdhrasya rāmaṃ pratyanubhāṣataḥ |

āsyāt susrāva rudhiraṃ mriyamāṇasya sāmiṣam ||

เมื่อแร้งนั้นยังมีสติแจ่มใส กล่าวถ้อยคำต่อพระรามทั้งที่กำลังสิ้นใจ เลือดปนเนื้อก็ไหลออกจากปากของมัน
