Jatāyu’s Testimony and Rāma’s Grief
रामस्तस्य तु विज्ञाय बाष्पपूर्णमुखस्तदा।द्विगुणीकृततापार्तस्सीतासक्तां प्रियां कथाम्।।।।
rāmas tasya tu vijñāya bāṣpapūrṇamukhas tadā |
dviguṇīkṛtatāpārtaḥ sītāsaktāṃ priyāṃ kathām ||
ครั้นพระรามทรงทราบจากเขาถึงเรื่องอันเป็นที่รักซึ่งผูกพันกับนางสีดา พระพักตร์ก็เอ่อล้นด้วยน้ำตา และความโศกก็ทวีเป็นสองเท่า จนทรงหมดเรี่ยวแรงในความทุกข์
