शरभङ्गाश्रमगमनम् तथा इन्द्रदर्शनम्

अहं ज्ञात्वा नरव्याघ्र वर्तमानमदूरतः।ब्रह्मलोकं न गच्छामि त्वामदृष्ट्वा प्रियातिथिम्।।3.5.29।।

ahaṃ jñātvā naravyāghra vartamānam adūrataḥ |

brahmalokaṃ na gacchāmi tvām adṛṣṭvā priyātithim ||3.5.29||

โอ้พยัคฆ์แห่งมนุษย์ เมื่อรู้ว่าท่านอยู่ไม่ไกล ข้าพเจ้าจะไม่ไปพรหมโลกก่อน จนกว่าจะได้เห็นท่าน—แขกผู้เป็นที่รักและควรบูชา
