हस्त्यश्वरथसम्बाधा तूर्यनादविनादिता।सर्वकालफलैर्वृक्षैस्सङ्कुलोद्द्यानशोभिता।।।।
hastyaśvarathasambādhā tūryanādavināditā | sarvakālaphalair vṛkṣaiḥ saṅkulodyānaśobhitā ||
นครนั้นแน่นขนัดด้วยช้าง ม้า และรถศึก กึกก้องด้วยเสียงดุริยางค์ สวนอุทยานงามนัก หนาทึบด้วยไม้ผลที่ออกผลได้ทุกกาล
It is crowded with elephants, horses and chariots. It resounds with the music of trumpets. The trees in the delightful pleasuregardens yield fruits in all seasons.
The verse continues the theme of temptation through prosperity; dharma teaches discernment—abundance and enjoyment are not inherently virtuous and can be used to mislead.
Rāvaṇa elaborates on Laṅkā’s bustle, music, and perpetual fruitfulness to persuade Sītā.
Sītā’s restraint and loyalty are implicitly foregrounded, as she is urged to value pleasure over principle.
