दूषणवधः
The Slaying of Dūṣaṇa and the Rout of Khara’s Host
ततः पावकसङ्काशैर्हेमवज्रविभूषितैः।जघान शेषं तेजस्वी तस्य सैन्यस्य सायकैः।।।।
tataḥ pāvaka-saṅkāśair hema-vajra-vibhūṣitaiḥ |
jaghāna śeṣaṃ tejasvī tasya sainyasya sāyakaiḥ ||
จากนั้น วีรบุรุษผู้รุ่งโรจน์ได้ทำลายกองทัพที่เหลือด้วยลูกศรที่ส่องประกายดั่งไฟบรรลัยกัลป์ ประดับด้วยทองคำและเพชร
Having spoken thus, angry Khara ran towards Rama. Syenagami, Pruthugriva, Yajnasatru, Vihanga, Durjaya, Karaveeraksha, Parusha, Kalakarmuka, Meghamali, Mahamali, Sarpasya, Rudhirasanaall these twelve valiant army chiefs along with their forces rushed towards Rama, releasing the sharpest arrows at him.
Dharma here is completion of necessary action: the threat is removed fully so that innocents are not endangered by surviving aggressors.
After earlier strikes, Rāma finishes off the remaining portion of the hostile force with blazing, ornamented arrows.
Decisiveness and efficacy—Rāma’s capacity to end violence swiftly when duty requires.
