Concept: Worship is not merely merit-accumulation; it is character-alchemy—kāma and krodha (root doṣas) and all vighnas are destroyed through devoted pūjā.

Application: Treat worship as a daily discipline for anger/lust management: set a fixed time, offer a simple upacāra, and consciously release one reactive habit after prayer.

FAQs

Kapardīśvara is a name of Śiva, presented here as the deity whose worship removes obstacles and inner faults.

It frames kāma (unrestrained desire) and krodha (anger) as key moral-psychological defects and recommends disciplined devotion (pūjā) as a means of purification and steadiness.

Vārāṇasī is implied as a powerful sacred setting where worship—specifically of Kapardīśvara—has transformative, obstacle-removing effects for its residents.
