अपुनर्मरणानां हि सा गतिर्मोक्षकांक्षिणाम् । यां प्राप्य कृतकृत्यः स्यादिति मन्यंति पंडिताः

apunarmaraṇānāṃ hi sā gatirmokṣakāṃkṣiṇām | yāṃ prāpya kṛtakṛtyaḥ syāditi manyaṃti paṃḍitāḥ

แท้จริง นั่นแลคือคติของผู้ปรารถนาโมกษะ—ภาวะที่ไม่หวนกลับไปสู่ความตายอีก. เมื่อบรรลุแล้ว ย่อมเป็นผู้ทำกิจเสร็จสิ้น (กฤตกฤตยะ); บัณฑิตทั้งหลายกล่าวไว้ดังนี้.
