भीष्म उवाच । आदित्यवंशमखिलं वद ब्रह्मन्यथाक्रमं । सोमवंशं च तत्त्वज्ञ यथावद्वक्तुमर्हसि

ภีษมะกล่าวว่า “โอ้พราหมณ์ จงเล่าลำดับวงศ์อาทิตย์ (อาทิตยวงศ์) ทั้งสิ้นตามลำดับเถิด และโอ้ผู้รู้ความจริง ท่านควรกล่าวถึงวงศ์จันทร์ (โสมวงศ์) ให้ถูกต้องด้วย”
