आदित्य उवाच । पितामह महाप्राज्ञ विश्वेंद्र विश्वभावक । ब्रूहि शीघ्रं परं यत्ते करिष्यामि मतं विधे

อาทิตยะกล่าวว่า: “ข้าแต่ปิตามหะ ผู้ทรงปรีชามหายิ่ง—เจ้าแห่งสากลจักรวาล ผู้บันดาลจักรวาล—โปรดบอกหนทางอันสูงสุดโดยเร็วเถิด โอ้ วิเท ผู้ทรงกำหนด ข้าจักกระทำตามพระดำริของท่าน”
