Primary Rasa: bhayanaka

Secondary Rasa: karuna

FAQs

It warns that moral and cultural decline can spread even among the well-born through close association, social ties, and sharing food—signaling how conduct is influenced by proximity and habit.

In this context, “mleccha” suggests those outside Vedic norms of conduct, while “dasyu” indicates bandits or predatory wrongdoers—together marking a collapse of dharmic behavior.

It emphasizes discernment (viveka) in companionship and social bonds, and treats food-sharing as ethically significant—since it can symbolize acceptance of influence, values, and lifestyle.
