FAQs

It praises Veda- and Śāstra-based learning as well as other forms of knowledge such as śilpa-vidyā (arts, crafts, and practical/technical skills).

It presents learning as fruitful both in worldly terms (vijaya—success/victory) and in religious terms (svargadāyinī—leading to heavenly merit).

That disciplined pursuit of true learning—scriptural and practical—should be valued as a dharmic path that benefits both one’s life and one’s spiritual destiny.
