Concept: Truth accomplishes what is otherwise difficult; it is inviolable, and even a single truthful utterance can transform destiny.

Application: Use truth as a daily anchor: keep promises, be accurate in speech, and repair breaches quickly; trust that integrity has long-term spiritual ‘momentum’ even when short-term costs appear.

FAQs

It teaches that satya (truthfulness) is a foundational dharmic power—so reliable and inviolable that it enables the accomplishment of what seems difficult, and it leads to spiritual merit.

Bahulā is a cow mentioned as an example: through truthful speech (satya-vākya), she becomes svargagāminī—one who attains heaven—illustrating the fruit of truth.

Even within the creation-focused Sṛṣṭikhaṇḍa, the text frequently reinforces practical dharma: truthfulness is portrayed not only as moral conduct but as a potent spiritual force with karmic and salvific outcomes.
