प्रसादनार्थं विष्णोस्तु स्तुतिमेतां चकार ह । त्वया सृष्टं जगदिदं पद्मं नाभौ विनिःसृतम् । तत्र चाहं समुत्पन्नस्तव वश्यश्च केशव
prasādanārthaṃ viṣṇostu stutimetāṃ cakāra ha | tvayā sṛṣṭaṃ jagadidaṃ padmaṃ nābhau viniḥsṛtam | tatra cāhaṃ samutpannastava vaśyaśca keśava
เพื่อขอพระกรุณาแห่งพระวิษณุ เขาจึงรจนาบทสรรเสริญนี้ว่า “ด้วยพระองค์ โลกทั้งสิ้นนี้จึงถูกสร้างขึ้น; จากพระนาภีของพระองค์ ดอกบัวได้ผุดบังเกิด และจากดอกบัวนั้น ข้าพเจ้าก็ถือกำเนิด ทั้งยังอยู่ใต้พระบัญชา โอ้พระเกศวะ”
