Prajā (created beings/progeny)

Concept: Cosmic order begins when beings petition the creator to manifest worlds; creation is a sacred duty undertaken for loka-saṅgraha.

Application: Treat one’s responsibilities (family, work, community) as ‘world-sustaining’ duties performed with reverence rather than ego.

FAQs

“Kamalaja” means “lotus-born” and commonly refers to Brahmā, who is traditionally described as arising from a lotus.

It portrays creation as a deliberate act prompted by beings (prajā) who appeal to the Supreme Lord to bring forth the worlds—highlighting the Purāṇic theme of cosmic generation.

The verse models reverent petition and recognition of a higher cosmic order: creation and governance of the worlds are ultimately attributed to the Supreme, not to individual beings alone.
