FAQs

It presents a symbolic cosmogony where living beings arise from specific parts of the creator (Prajāpati), emphasizing an ordered, purposeful emergence of species within creation.

Prajāpati is portrayed as a direct progenitor who generates domestic animals through his own embodied creative power, a common Purāṇic motif linking the cosmos to the creator’s form.

By placing cows and other domesticated animals within the sacred narrative of creation, the text implicitly elevates their significance in dharmic life—supporting themes of stewardship, restraint, and respectful use of living beings.
