पुलस्त्य उवाच । अद्रिराजं महाशैलं मेरुं कनकपर्वतम् । उदयेऽस्तमये भानुः प्रदक्षिणमवर्तत

pulastya uvāca | adrirājaṃ mahāśailaṃ meruṃ kanakaparvatam | udaye'stamaye bhānuḥ pradakṣiṇamavartata

ปุลัสตยะกล่าวว่า: “เมื่ออาทิตย์ขึ้นและอาทิตย์ตก พระสุริยะย่อมเวียนประทักษิณา โดยรักษาเบื้องขวา รอบเขาพระเมรุ—ราชาแห่งภูผา ยอดเขาใหญ่ ภูเขาทองคำ”
