FAQs

‘Dhanada’ is Kubera, the lord associated with wealth and the Yakṣas, here described as dharmabuddhimān—righteous-minded.

The verse alludes to a violent seizure of Kubera’s aerial chariot and control over Laṅkā, a motif known from Rāmāyaṇa-linked Purāṇic retellings.

It implicitly contrasts dharmic disposition (dharma-buddhi) with coercive appropriation (haṭhāt), highlighting the sorrow and disorder that follow adharma-driven conquest.
