FAQs

‘Kumbhodbhava’ means “born from a pot” and is a standard epithet of the sage Agastya, recalling his miraculous birth.

After honoring the horse (pūjitam), Agastya releases it (vimocayāmāsa), implying formal permission or ritual completion connected with the horse.

The assembly’s collective smile suggests approval, relief, or gentle acknowledgment—indicating that the situation has been resolved without hostility and with decorum.
