Concept: Properly executed Ekādaśī yields immense merit (like a hundred sacrifices) and requires correct pāraṇa timing; if Ekādaśī is missed, it is joined with the following Dvādaśī.

Application: Honor completion: begin disciplines well and end them correctly; if you miss a commitment, make a structured recovery plan rather than abandoning the practice.

Primary Rasa: adbhuta

Secondary Rasa: shanta

Visual Art Cues: {"scene_description":"A devotee sits in meditation before a small Viṣṇu altar while, in a visionary overlay, a hundred miniature sacrificial fires appear like a constellation around them—suggesting ‘kratu-śata’ merit. FAQs

It states that pāraṇa is to be done on Trayodaśī (the 13th lunar day) for this observance.

If Ekādaśī is not available or is lost, the observance is to be carried out combined with the following Dvādaśī (dvādaśī-yutā).

It declares the resulting merit to be equivalent to that of performing a hundred Vedic sacrifices (kratuśata).
