hṛdi vivyādha bāṇānāṃ sahasreṇāgnivarcasām sārathiṃ ca śatenājau dhvajaṃ daśabhireva ca //

ด้วยศรพันดอกอันรุ่งโรจน์ดุจเปลวไฟ เขาทะลวงถึงดวงหฤทัย; ในสนามรบยังยิงสารถีด้วยศรร้อยดอก และยิงธงรบด้วยศรเพียงสิบดอก
