tyaktvā rathau tu tau vegād āplutau tarasāśvinau tau rathau sa tu niṣpiṣya mudgaro 'calasaṃnibhaḥ //

ทั้งสองอัศวินละทิ้งรถศึกของตนด้วยความเร็ว แล้วกระโจนไปข้างหน้าอย่างรวดเร็วดุจม้า ครั้นแล้วค้อนศึกนั้นดุจภูผาอันไม่หวั่นไหวก็บดขยี้รถศึกทั้งสองจนแหลก
