cichedātha dhanurviṣṇor nimirbhallena dānavaḥ saṃdhyamānaṃ śaraṃ haste cicheda mahiṣāsuraḥ //

แล้วอสูรนิมิก็ตัดคันศรของพระวิษณุด้วยศรคมชนิดภัลละ; และมหิษาสูร ขณะกำลังสอดศร ก็ฟันศรนั้นขาดเสียในมือ
