ततः शुक्लाम्बरधरः शुक्लगन्धानुलेपनः सर्वौषधैः सर्वगन्धैः स्नापितो द्विजपुंगवैः //

จากนั้นเขาสวมอาภรณ์สีขาว และทาด้วยเครื่องหอมสีขาวอันเป็นมงคล; พราหมณ์ผู้ประเสริฐได้ทำพิธีสฺนาปนะ (อาบพิธี) ให้เขาด้วยสมุนไพรศักดิ์สิทธิ์ทั้งปวงและเครื่องหอมทุกชนิด।
