आत्मतेजोद्भवाः पुण्या आपो ऽमृतरसोपमाः आकाशं छिद्रसम्भूतं वायुराकाशसंभवः //

Transliteration

ātmatejodbhavāḥ puṇyā āpo 'mṛtarasopamāḥ ākāśaṃ chidrasambhūtaṃ vāyurākāśasaṃbhavaḥ //

Translation

จากรัศมีแห่งอาตมันได้บังเกิดสายน้ำอันศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เปรียบดังรสอมฤต; จากช่องว่างนั้นเกิดอากาศธาตุ (ākāśa) และจากอากาศธาตุจึงบังเกิดวายุ (vāyu)۔
