अर्जुन उवाच इन्द्रस्यार्धासनं राजन्नयमारोदुमर्हति । ब्रह्माण्य: श्रुतवांस्त्यागी यज्ञशीलो दृढव्रत:

Transliteration

arjuna uvāca indrasya ardhāsanaṃ rājann ayam āroḍhum arhati | brahmaṇyaḥ śrutavāṃs tyāgī yajñaśīlo dṛḍhavrataḥ ||

Translation

อรชุนกล่าวว่า “ข้าแต่พระราชา อย่าว่าแต่ราชบัลลังก์ของพระองค์เลย บุรุษผู้นี้ยังคู่ควรแม้จะขึ้นนั่งกึ่งอาสน์ของพระอินทร์ เขาเป็นผู้ภักดีต่อพราหมณ์ สดับรู้คัมภีร์ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ เป็นผู้สละตน ตั้งมั่นในยัญพิธี และเคร่งครัดในปฏิญญาวัตรของตน”
