वैशम्पायन उवाच अभथीोत्तरेण प्रहिता दूतास्ते शीघ्रगामिन: । विराटनगरं प्राप्प विजयं समवेदयन्‌,वैशम्पायनजी कहते हैं--राजन! इसी समय उत्तरके भेजे हुए शीघ्रगामी दूतोंने विराटनगरमें आकर विजयकी सूचना दी

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca: athottareṇa prahitā dūtās te śīghragāminaḥ | virāṭanagaraṃ prāpya vijayaṃ samavedayan |

Translation

ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า “แล้วบรรดาทูตผู้รวดเร็วซึ่งอุตตระส่งไป ก็ถึงนครวิราฏและกราบทูลข่าวแห่งชัยชนะ”
