स तैहयैर्वातजवैर्बृहदूभि: पुत्रो विराटस्य सुवर्णकक्षै: व्यध्वंसयत् तद् रथिनामनीकं ततो5वहत् पाण्डवमाजिमध्ये
sa taihayair vātajavair bṛhadūbhiḥ putro virāṭasya suvarṇakakṣaiḥ vyadhvaṃsayat tad rathinām anīkaṃ tato ’vahat pāṇḍavam ājimadhye
ไวศัมปายนะกล่าวว่า ด้วยม้าตัวใหญ่เหล่านั้นซึ่งเร็วประหนึ่งลม—มีผ้ารัดเครื่องเทียมปลายหลังประดับทอง—อุตตระ โอรสแห่งวิราฏะ ขับพุ่งไปอย่างรวดเร็ว ให้ม้าเหยียบย่ำและทำลายกระบวนทัพของนักรบรถศึกฝ่ายเการพ แล้วพาอรชุนผู้เป็นปาณฑพเข้าสู่กลางสมรภูมิ.
