इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत विराटप्वके अन्तर्गत गोहरणपर्वमें उत्तर दिशासे गौओंके अपहरण के प्रसंगमें उत्तरके आश्वासनसे सम्बन्ध रखनेवाला अड़तीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ Śrīmahābhārate Virāṭaparvaṇi antargate Goharaṇaparvaṇi uttaradiśaḥ gāvo'pakaraṇaprasange Uttarasya āśvāsanena sambandhaṃ rakṣamāṇaḥ aṣṭatriṃśattamo'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ.
ดังนี้ ในศรีมหาภารตะ ภาควิราฏะ ภายในตอนโกหรณะ ว่าด้วยเหตุการณ์กวาดต้อนโคไปทางทิศเหนือ อันเกี่ยวเนื่องด้วยถ้อยคำปลอบประโลมของเจ้าชายอุตตระ บทที่สามสิบแปดจึงสิ้นสุดลง
