उत्तर उवाच बृहन्नले गायनो वा नर्तनो वा पुनर्भव | क्षिप्रं मे रथमास्थाय निगृह्लीष्व हयोत्तमान्,उत्तर बोला--बृहन्नले! तुम पुन: लौटकर गायक या नर्तक जो चाहो, बन जाना। इस समय तो शीघ्र ही मेरे रथपर बैठकर श्रेष्ठ घोड़ोंको काबूमें करो
uttara uvāca bṛhannale gāyano vā nartano vā punarbhava | kṣipraṃ me ratham āsthāya nigṛhlīṣva hayottamān ||
อุตตรกล่าวว่า “โอ พฤหันนเล ภายหลังเจ้าจะกลับไปเป็นนักขับร้องหรือนักรำตามใจปรารถนาก็ได้ แต่บัดนี้จงรีบขึ้นรถศึกของเรา แล้วควบคุมม้าอันประเสริฐเหล่านี้ให้มั่น”
