ततस्तु तां समारोप्य निबध्य च सुमध्यमाम्‌ | जम्मुरुद्यम्य ते सर्वे श्मशानाभिमुखास्तदा,फिर उन्होंने सुन्दर कटिभागवाली उस देवीको टिकटीपर चढ़ाकर लाशके साथ ही बाँध दिया। इसके बाद वे सब लोग मृतकको उठाकर श्मशानभूमिकी ओर ले चले

tatastu tāṃ samāropya nibadhya ca sumadhyamām | jambum udyamya te sarve śmaśānābhimukhās tadā ||

แล้วพวกเขาก็ยกสตรีผู้เอวอรชรขึ้นวางบนแคร่ศพ และมัดนางไว้กับศพนั้น จากนั้นทุกคนก็ยกศพขึ้นแล้วมุ่งหน้าไปยังป่าช้าเพื่อประกอบพิธีเผาศพ
