भीमसेन उवाच
Even while living incognito, Bhīma frames his strength as disciplined service: he will accept challenges not for vanity, but to fulfill his role and sustain the king’s goodwill, supporting the larger dharmic mission of the Pāṇḍavas’ concealment.
During the Pāṇḍavas’ year of hiding in Virāṭa’s kingdom, Bhīma indicates that if wrestlers in public gatherings seek bouts, he will fight them, aiming to entertain and please the king—consistent with his assumed position and the need to remain safely established at court.
