द्रौपद्याः भीमसेन-प्रबोधनम्

Draupadī Awakens Bhīmasena

सैरन्ध्युवाच अतीव तेषां घृणिनामर्थेडहं धर्मचारिणी । तस्य तस्यैव ते वध्या येषां ज्येष्ठो5क्षदेविता,सैरन्ध्री बोली--जिनके बड़े भाई सदा जूआ खेला करते हैं, उन दयालु गन्धर्वोंके लिये मैं अत्यन्त धर्मपरायणा रहूँगी। मेरा अपकार करनेवाले दुरात्मा उन सबके लिये वध्य हों

sairandhry uvāca: atīva teṣāṃ ghṛṇinām arthe ’haṃ dharmacāriṇī | tasya tasyaiva te vadhyā yeṣāṃ jyeṣṭho ’kṣadevitā ||

Sairandhrī said: “For the sake of those compassionate Gandharvas, I shall be steadfastly devoted to dharma. But those wicked men who have wronged me—each and every one of them—are fit to be slain, especially in those households where the eldest is addicted to the dice.”
