तत्राल्पेनैव सिध्यन्ति मानवास्तपसा विभो । जम्बूमार्गो महाराज ऋषीणां भावितात्मनाम्
tatrālpenāiva sidhyanti mānavās tapasā vibho | jambūmārgo mahārāja ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām ||
ข้าแต่องค์ผู้ทรงเดช! ณ ที่นั้น มนุษย์ย่อมบรรลุความสำเร็จได้ด้วยตบะเพียงเล็กน้อย. ข้าแต่มหาราช! นั่นคือ ‘ชัมพูมารคะ’—หนทางที่เหล่าฤๅษีผู้ขัดเกลาตนแล้วสัญจรไปมา.
धौम्य उवाच
Spiritual accomplishment depends not merely on the quantity of hardship but on the purity and discipline of the practitioner; in a sanctified context associated with realized sages, even modest austerity can bear swift fruit.
