उपस्थितं महाभागं पूजयामास भारत । भीष्मो धर्मभृतां श्रेष्ठो विधिदृष्टेन कर्मणा
upasthitaṁ mahābhāgaṁ pūjayāmāsa bhārata | bhīṣmo dharmabhṛtāṁ śreṣṭho vidhidṛṣṭena karmaṇā ||
โอ้เชื้อสายภารตะ ภีษมผู้เป็นเลิศในหมู่ผู้ทรงธรรม ได้บูชาต้อนรับแขกผู้มีบุญยิ่งซึ่งมาถึงนั้น ตามพิธีที่ศาสตรากำหนดโดยเคร่งครัด
