पूजां चास्या यथान्यायं कृत्वा तत्र तपोधना: । आस्यतामित्यथोचुस्ते ब्रूहि कि करवामहे,तदनन्तर वहाँ दमयन्तीका यथोचित आदर-सत्कार करके उन तपोधनोंने कहा--'शुभे! बैठो, बताओ, हम तुम्हारा कौन-सा कार्य सिद्ध करें"
pūjāṃ cāsyā yathānyāyaṃ kṛtvā tatra tapodhanāḥ | āsyatām ity athocus te brūhi kiṃ karavāmahe ||
ครั้นถวายการบูชาต้อนรับตามธรรมเนียมแล้ว ดาบสผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยตบะกล่าวว่า “โอ้สตรีผู้เป็นมงคล จงนั่งเถิด บอกมา—เราจะช่วยให้กิจใดของท่านสำเร็จ?”
