Nala as Bāhuka enters Ṛtuparṇa’s city
सा दृष्टवैव महासार्थ नलपत्नी यशस्विनी । उपसर्प्य वरारोहा जनमध्यं विवेश ह,उस बहुत बड़े समूहको देखते ही यशस्विनी नलपत्नी सुन्दरी दमयन्ती उसके पास पहुँच कर लोगोंकी भीड़में घुस गयी
sā dṛṣṭvaiva mahāsārthaṃ nalapatnī yaśasvinī | upasṛpya varārohā janamadhyaṃ viveśa ha ||
ครั้นเห็นกองคาราวานใหญ่แล้ว ดมยันตี—ชายาผู้มีเกียรติของนละ นารีผู้สูงศักดิ์—ก็เข้าไปใกล้และก้าวเข้าสู่ท่ามกลางฝูงชน
बृहृदश्च उवाच
Even in distress, one should act with courage and practical wisdom: Damayantī does not succumb to fear or isolation, but seeks the support of society to pursue a rightful resolution, reflecting steadfastness in dharma under adversity.
Damayantī sees a large caravan, approaches it, and enters the crowd—an action suggesting she is seeking safety, assistance, or information as she continues her difficult journey separated from Nala.
