Dhṛtarāṣṭra and Sañjaya on Arjuna’s Indraloka report and the political consequences
nivedayāmāsa tadā citrasenāya pāṇḍavaḥ | tatra caiva yathāvṛttaṃ śāpaṃ caiva punaḥ punaḥ ||
The verse underscores satya (truthful reporting) and accountability: when a grave moral-spiritual consequence like a śāpa arises, one should disclose events accurately and seek appropriate guidance rather than hide or distort the truth.
Arjuna (the Pāṇḍava) approaches the Gandharva Citraseṇa and narrates the incident exactly as it occurred, repeatedly mentioning the curse, indicating urgency and the need for counsel or a way to mitigate its effects.
