कुन्त्युवाच परम॑ भगवतन्नेवं संगमिष्ये त्वया सह । यदि पुत्रो भवेदेवं यथा वदसि गोपते,कुन्ती बोली--भगवन्! गोपते! जैसा आप कहते हैं, वैसा ही पुत्र यदि मुझे प्राप्त हो तो मैं आपके साथ उत्तम रीतिसे समागम करूँगी
kunty uvāca paramaṁ bhagavan tan naivaṁ saṅgamiṣye tvayā saha | yadi putro bhaved evaṁ yathā vadasi gopate ||
กุนตีทูลว่า “ข้าแต่พระผู้เป็นเจ้าสูงสุด ข้าแต่ผู้เป็นนายแห่งอินทรีย์! หากข้าพเจ้าได้บุตรดังที่พระองค์ตรัส ข้าพเจ้าจักยินยอมให้มีการร่วมสังวาสกับพระองค์ตามครรลองอันถูกต้อง”
