Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
सुग्रीव: प्रेषयामास सचिवं वानरं तयो: । बुद्धिमन्तं हनूमन्तं हिमवनतमिव स्थितम्,सुग्रीवने हिमालयके समान गम्भीर भावसे बैठे हुए अपने बुद्धिमान् सचिव हनुमान्को उन दोनोंके पास भेजा
Sugrīvaḥ preṣayāmāsa sacivaṃ vānaraṃ tayoḥ | buddhimantaṃ Hanūmantaṃ Himavantam iva sthitam ||
มารกัณฑยะกล่าวว่า—สุครีวะได้ส่งวานรผู้เป็นเสนาบดี คือหนุมานผู้เปี่ยมปัญญา ไปยังคนทั้งสองนั้น; หนุมานตั้งมั่นสงบนิ่งดุจหิมวานต์
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
A ruler should act through capable counsel: sending a wise, steady, and loyal minister as an envoy reflects dharma in governance—intelligence guided by restraint and service to a righteous purpose.
Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that Sugrīva dispatches his intelligent minister Hanūmān to meet “those two” (contextually, the two heroes being approached), describing Hanūmān’s steadfast presence as comparable to the Himālaya.
