Educational Q&A

A ruler should act through capable counsel: sending a wise, steady, and loyal minister as an envoy reflects dharma in governance—intelligence guided by restraint and service to a righteous purpose.

Mārkaṇḍeya narrates that Sugrīva dispatches his intelligent minister Hanūmān to meet “those two” (contextually, the two heroes being approached), describing Hanūmān’s steadfast presence as comparable to the Himālaya.
