Duryodhana Seized by Citraseṇa; Kaurava Petition to Yudhiṣṭhira (दुर्योधनापहारः / चित्रसेनगन्धर्वग्रहणम्)
|। तेषां प्रशमनं कार्य स्नान धूपमथाञ्जनम् | बलिकर्मोपहाराशक्ष् स्कन्दस्येज्याविशेषत:,स्नान, धूप, अज्जन, बलिकर्म, उपहार अर्पण तथा स्कन्ददेवकी विशेष पूजा करके इन स्कन्दग्रहोंकी शान्ति करनी चाहिये
teṣāṁ praśamanaṁ kāryaṁ snāna-dhūpam athāñjanam | bali-karmopahārāś ca skandasyejyā-viśeṣataḥ ||
เพื่อบรรเทาและสงบสิ่งเหล่านั้น พึงประกอบพิธีระงับ—อาบน้ำพิธี บูชาควันธูป และทาอัญชันอันเป็นเครื่องคุ้มครอง; พร้อมทั้งถวายบลีและเครื่องสักการะต่าง ๆ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งให้กระทำด้วยการบูชา ‘สกันทะ’ เป็นพิเศษ
