अचेष्टमपि चासीनं श्री: कंचिदुपतिछ्ठति

Transliteration

aceṣṭam api cāsīnaṁ śrīḥ kaṁcid upatiṣṭhati

Translation

แม้ผู้ใดไม่แสดงความพยายามภายนอกและเพียงนั่งนิ่งอยู่ ศรี (พระลักษมี—ความรุ่งเรือง) ก็อาจมาถึงและยืนเคียงข้างเขาได้ ดังนั้นความสำเร็จทางโลกมิใช่เครื่องชี้วัดบุญหรือความเพียรโดยตรงเสมอไป ควรตัดสินกันด้วยธรรมและความประพฤติ มิใช่ด้วยโชคหรือทรัพย์ที่เห็นภายนอก
