एतदिच्छामि भगवन्‌ याथातथ्येन वेदितुम्‌ । सर्वमेव महाप्राज्ञ विस्तरेण तपोधन,तपस्याके धनी मुनीश्वर! ऐसा महाबली दैत्य तो मैंने कभी नहीं सुना था, अतः: भगवन्‌! मैं इसके विषयमें यथार्थ बातें जानना चाहता हूँ। महामते! आप यह सारी कथा विस्तारपूर्वक बताइये

Transliteration

etad icchāmi bhagavan yāthātathyena veditum | sarvam eva mahāprājña vistareṇa tapodhana ||

Translation

ข้าแต่ภควन् ข้าปรารถนาจะรู้เรื่องนี้ตามความเป็นจริงโดยถ่องแท้ ข้าแต่มหาปราชญ์ ผู้มั่งคั่งด้วยตบะ โปรดเล่าทุกสิ่งโดยพิสดารเถิด
