Dharma-vyādha on Parental Worship

Pitṛ-mātṛ-śuśrūṣā as Paramadaivata

परिघ-जैसी मोटी भुजाओंवाले अपने समस्त शूरवीर पुत्रोंके साथ जाकर यह आपका सारा अभीष्ट कार्य सिद्ध करेगा, इसमें संशय नहीं है। ब्रह्म! आप मुझे छोड़ दीजिये। मैंने अब अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंको त्याग दिया है' |। तथास्त्विति च तेनोक्तो मुनिनामिततेजसा । स तमादिश्य तनयमुत्तड़काय महात्मने

tathāstv iti ca tenokto munināmitatejasā | sa tam ādiśya tanayam uttadakāya mahātmane ||

เมื่อฤๅษีผู้รุ่งโรจน์หาประมาณมิได้กล่าวดังนั้น เขาตอบว่า “เป็นเช่นนั้นเถิด” แล้วจึงสั่งสอนบุตรและมอบบุตรให้แก่มหาตมะอุตตทกะ เหตุการณ์นี้ชี้ให้เห็นการถ่ายโอนหน้าที่ตามธรรมะ—ผู้เฒ่าผู้วางอาวุธแล้ว มิได้ใช้กำลังตน หากให้คำปรึกษาอันชอบธรรมเพื่อกำหนดแนวทางต่อไป
