Dharma-vyādha’s Instruction on Śiṣṭācāra and Dharma

उक्षाणं पकक्‍त्वा सह ओदनेन अस्मात्‌ कपोतात्‌ प्रति ते नयन्तु । यस्मिन्‌ देशे रमसे5तीव श्येन तत्र मांसं शिबयस्ते वहन्तु,“अत: बाज! इस कबूतरके बदले मेरे सेवक ले जाय तुम्हारी पुष्टिके लिये भातके साथ ऋषभकन्द पकाकर दूँगा। तुम जिस स्थानपर प्रसन्नतापूर्वक रह सको, वहीं चलकर रहो। ये शिबिवंशी क्षत्रिय वहीं तुम्हारे लिये भात और ऋषभकन्दका गूदा पहुँचा दें

ukṣāṇaṁ paktvā saha odanena asmāt kapotāt prati te nayantu | yasmin deśe ramase ’tīva śyena tatra māṁsaṁ śibayas te vahantu ||

มารกัณฑยะกล่าวว่า “จงปรุงอุกษาณ (ฤๅษภกัณฑะ) กับข้าว แล้วนำไปให้เจ้าแทนพิราบนี้เถิด โอ้เหยี่ยวศเยนะ ณ แดนใดที่เจ้าจะพำนักได้ด้วยความอิ่มเอมเต็มที่ ก็จงอยู่ ณ ที่นั้น ชนผู้สืบสายศิพีจะหาบหามเนื้อและเสบียงไปให้เจ้าถึงที่นั้น”
