तस्मिन् निपतिते क्षुद्रे शाल्वे बाणप्रपीडिते । रौक्मिणेयो परं बाणं संदधे शत्रुनाशनम्,क्षुद्र स्वभाववाले राजा शाल्वके बाणविद्ध होकर गिर जानेपर रुक्मिणीनन्दन प्रद्युम्नने अपने धनुषपर एक उत्तम बाणका संधान किया, जो शत्रुका नाश कर देनेवाला था इति श्रीमहाभारते वनपर्वणि अर्जुनाभिगमनपर्वणि सौभवधोपाख्याने एकोनविंशो5 ध्याय:
tasmin nipatite kṣudre śālve bāṇaprapīḍite | raukmiṇeyo paraṁ bāṇaṁ sandadhe śatrunāśanam ||
