Gandhamādana-praveśa and the Sudden Storm (गन्धमादनप्रवेशः — चण्डवातवर्षवर्णनम्)
लोकाः: संक्षुभिता: सर्वे व्याकुलं च चराचरम् । समुद्राणां च संक्षोभस्त्रिदशेश प्रकाशते,'देवेश्वर! सम्पूर्ण लोकोंमें हलचल मच गयी है। चर और अचर सभी प्राणी व्याकुल हैं। समुद्रोंमें बड़ा भारी क्षोभ दिखायी दे रहा है
lokāḥ saṁkṣubhitāḥ sarve vyākulaṁ ca carācaram | samudrāṇāṁ ca saṁkṣobhas tridaśeśa prakāśate ||
“ข้าแต่จอมเทพ! โลกทั้งปวงปั่นป่วนแล้ว สรรพสิ่งทั้งที่เคลื่อนไหวและไม่เคลื่อนไหวล้วนกระสับกระส่าย และข้าแต่ผู้เป็นใหญ่แห่งไตรทศะ ความปั่นป่วนรุนแรงก็ปรากฏในมหาสมุทรทั้งหลายด้วย”
