The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage
स वै प्रविशमानस्तु शूद्रेणान्धेन रक्षिणा । निगृहीतो बलाद् द्वारि सोडवातिष्ठत पार्थिव,राजन्! उस समय अमग्निहोत्रगृहके अंदर एक शूद्र-जातीय रक्षक नियुक्त था, जिसकी दोनों आँखें अंधी थीं। उसने दरवाजेके भीतर घुसते ही यवक्रीतको बलपूर्वक पकड़ लिया और यवक्रीत वहीं खड़ा हो गया
sa vai praviśamānas tu śūdreṇāndhena rakṣiṇā | nigṛhīto balād dvāri so ’vātiṣṭhata pārthiva rājan ||
ข้าแต่พระราชา! เมื่อเขากำลังจะเข้าไป ณ ประตูนั้นมีผู้เฝ้าซึ่งเป็นศูทรตาบอดทั้งสองข้าง ได้เข้าจับยวครีตไว้ด้วยกำลัง เขาจึงถูกยับยั้งและยืนค้างอยู่ที่ธรณีประตู
