The Slaying of Yavakrīta at Raibhya’s Hermitage
जलहीन सरो दृष्टवा यवक्रीस्त्वरित: पुन: । जगाम सरितः: सर्वास्ताश्चाप्पासन् विशोषिता:,इसके जाते ही सरोवरका पानी सूख गया। सरोवरको जलहीन हुआ देख यवक्रीत फिर तुरंत ही समस्त सरिताओंके पास गया; परंतु इसके जानेपर वे सब भी सूख गयीं
jalahīnaṃ saraḥ dṛṣṭvā yavakrītaḥ tvaritaḥ punaḥ | jagāma saritaḥ sarvāḥ tāś cāpaśan viśoṣitāḥ ||
ครั้นเขาไปแล้ว น้ำในสระนั้นก็เหือดแห้ง ยวครีตเห็นสระไร้น้ำจึงรีบรุดไปยังสายน้ำทั้งปวง แต่ครั้นเขาจากไป แม่น้ำเหล่านั้นก็พลันแห้งเหือดตามกัน
